Academics

Theatre Arts Program
Welcome to the Five Towns College Theatre Arts Division. We are a community of faculty, staff, and students committed to theatre education. We balance artistry and performance with excellence in scholarship. Through the integration of coursework, productions, and additional activities, we seek to foster creativity, critical thinking, quality, and professionalism. We endeavor to understand theatre not only as a means of artistic expression and a form of entertainment, but also as a window into history, a method of inquiry into all things human, and a vehicle for social change.
We invite you to join us in this mission. Our theatrical performances and academic programs combine drama study and theatre training in a comprehensive curriculum. We offer many opportunities for majors and non- majors to gain valuable skills and unforgettable experiences, whether they work on stage or behind the scenes.
