Led by singer/guitarist Nina Gordon, Savannah Sky will bring the best of the Grand Ole Opry to Five Towns College. You don’t have to go to Nashville to hear classic country, rockabilly and Western swing. Just come to Dix Hills, where this wonderful band will perform great renditions of the songs of Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Reba McEntire, Loretta Lynn, Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton and so much more.

The Grand Ole Opry has been part of the American music scene since 1927, offering the longest continuously running broadcast radio show in the USA. Savannah Sky presents a heart-felt tribute to the stars and the music that have entertained millions throughout the decades.

Formed in New York City more than 20 years ago, Gordon is joined by Skip Krevens, Billy Lang, and Peter Falbo. On stage at the Performing Arts Center, they’ll be serving up a great evening of pickin’, grinnin’, and honky-tonkin,’ with plenty of those sweet harmonies that make Country Music what it is. And don’t forget the Blue Spruce Cloggers, who will make the audience feel like they’re at Nashville’s famous venue with their talented routine.

And this show will be even more special as we broadcast the concert live from the Performing Arts Center for the first Grand Ole L.I. Opry Tribute Show. It’s a great night of family-friendly fun, and finger-snappin’, heart-warmin’ tunes, guaranteed to appeal to audience members from age 8 to 88. Join us at this first Country Show at the Performing Arts Center!
