Scoring 102 – 95, The FTC Sound Men’s
Basketball Team is Victorious Again!

It was the second game of the season and the FTC Sound Men’s Basketball team took on the challengers from Pennsylvania, the Penn State Scranton Men’s Basketball team. And, the men in blue were no pushovers at all. But, the strength of the home team was apparent from the start and the Sound team maintained a winning stance for most of the evening.

It was wet and rainy outside, but inside the bleachers were pretty full and the excitement of the crowd filled the gym. FTC students were psyched to cheer on their team! The Mass Communication Division team and WFTU Radio presided and this amazing game was streamed live on Facebook! How cool is that! The excitement filled the FTC Gymnasium and there wasn’t a dull moment all evening!

Thank you to the FTC Sound Head Coach John Mateyko, Assistant Coach Greg Drzal, and, of course, Women’s Head Coach Ronnie Peck! And, lots of gratitude to Mass Communication Division Chair, Thomas Calandrillo, who has put forth unyielding effort, energy, and expertise-time and time again. He has exhibited his mastery of mass media and the communication field enabling FTC students to experience sports broadcasting through radio and internet streaming at last!

Thank you to everyone who made the Sound Athletics Program rebound and succeed once again!! The enthusiasm plays out again on Thursday, November 17 @ 7 p.m. versus Touro College. Come cheer your FTC Sound team on to victory!!
