Total Vocal

March is aflutter with stage appearances, amazing concerts and performances by Five Towns College students on campus and in New York City. FTC is pleased to announce some terrific accomplishments by our faculty and students.

Mark your calendars now for Sunday, March 29, at 2 p.m., when Carnegie Hall plays host to the first ever a cappella contemporary music event on its world-renowned stage. The Distinguished Concerts Singers International’s  production of Total Vocal will debut, and part of DCINY’s amazing concert will feature Dominance, the Five Towns College student vocal group led by accompanying director Professor Marc Silverberg, in all their glory.

Dominance members include the very talented students Branden Andrade, Brandon Deville, Loray Egan, Paul Greene-Dennis, Dawn Lee, Melanie Magri, Amanda McDonough, and Timberlin Nunez. Five Towns College is incredibly proud to share this fabulous news as Dominance received a recommendation from DCINY after submitting their video audition and overcoming steep competition.

This premier a cappella performance of contemporary music conducted and hosted by Deke Sharon, the acclaimed arranger/conductor of Pitch Perfect and The Sing-Off!, gives FTC students their chance to shine in the “Big Apple.”

Don’t spend March indoors complaining about the weather! There is so much to be excited about. Come join the FTC community as it cheers on Dominance . . . which exudes creativity at the core!
