March to the Music in our Schools Month!

Here @ Five Towns College, every month has music in our school. But, March is known as Music in our Schools Month and, so, Five Towns College is pleased to host a number of musical events on campus.

On Wednesday, March 16^th, Professor Dean Karahalis has announced that the Excelsior High School and vocalists from Springfield Gardens will be participating in a full day performance/rehearsal with members of the FTC Band and Wind Ensemble. A main highlight of this event is that the Director, Mr. Tyquorn LeBron, is a FTC graduate. So, FTC warmly welcomes his return here. Please stop by anytime from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.to observe the Open Rehearsal in the FTC Performing Arts Center.

Next up on Thursday, March 17^th from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Five Towns College welcomes the Long Island High School Jazz Festival. Music Division Professors Briody and Karahalis are proud to lead this event that should be enjoyable for all.
