FTC is offering a one-month sampler – where you can explore the fields of audio recording, filmmaking, theatre arts, and music business.

You’ve graduated from high school and maybe you’re not sure of your career path?
You’re home from college for the summer and maybe you need something productive to do?
You’re busy working, traveling with your family, and maybe you just want to try some interesting classes in the entertainment field, get some college credits, and live on a college campus?
Your family is vacationing out on the East End and you want some independence doing your own thing during the week but maybe you want to be with them on the weekend?

Did you say, “Yes”?

Then, the Summer Sampler is just what you’re looking for . . .

Take a morning class in audio recording, film or theatre arts and then dive into the world of music business in the afternoon. It’s a great way to explore these fields while earning six college credits!

And, while your parents may want you to pursue the sciences, accounting or get a “desk job”, our Summer Sampler classes allow you to explore your creative side in a practical way by learning a little bit about the music business. What more could you want?

During this four week program, you’ll stay in our modern, air-conditioned residence halls with a private bathroom, internet and cable TV, and enjoy three great meals each day.

“What does it cost”? For $3,890 you get two, three-credit college classes that earn a total of six credits, plus you get to live on campus from June 29 through July 23, 2015.

While the typical class week starts Sunday evening and goes through Friday afternoon, there is an optional weekend add-on for only $200. for those who are from out of town and want to explore the beaches, museums, and nightlife of Long Island. And, there will be some surprises on campus for Sampler students who will get to attend the concerts and other special events happening on campus this summer.
