There is Nothing Common About “Common Hour”

Up new for the Fall 2015, Five Towns College debuts the “Common Hour”; designated daytime slots during Tuesday and Thursday when the FTC community convenes for entertainment, academic sessions or institutional events. Having determined to amend the traditional class schedule, FTC administration created Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday course schedules. This opened up “Common Hour” slots on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday for creative opportunities on campus for all.

The first week of class welcomed the Music Division faculty live to the FTC Performing Arts Center stage. Their performances dazzled the audience and welcomed new students into the walls of this musical campus. Presentations by Professor Peter Rogine, Jerry Saulter, Scott Ballin, Steve Briody, Quintet members- Steve Gleason et al. impressed the students, staff and faculty alike and brought everyone together for their common enjoyment.

Each week different groups will present. So, be sure to attend and participate in “Common Hour”; certainly, nothing common will be presented @ Five Towns College
