Howard Grene graduated from Five Towns College in 2003 with a B.P.S. in Business Management, Audio Recording Technology.

Howard currently resides at Entertainment One Music, formerly Koch Records, as Vice President. His position sees him leading the teams of employees whose roles include music licensing, rights management, copyright registration, royalty accounting, income processing, and back office operations.

Howard’s space in the industry also includes his music production and DJ career under the artist name How Hard where he has seen numerous works and features on labels worldwide. In addition, Howard co-founded live event company Hardmind with fellow Five Towns College alumni Jamie Velasquez while still attending FTC. In 2006, Howard launched Hard X Music, Inc. Hard X Music is formed by its publishing catalog, in-house recordings, and distributed labels while also offering recording and consultant services to indie artists and labels. As President, Howard oversees the company’s operations and development of Hard X Music catalogs, which feature a mix of iconic and underground names in electronic music.

Constantly striving to develop talent, Howard designed and implemented the department’s internship program, which launched the careers of many individuals, notably numerous Five Towns College alumni. Howard has also enjoyed guest lecturing in various mediums including returning to Five Towns on multiple occasions to speak.
