Dan McElroy
Class of 2012
B.F.A Film/Video
Field Coordinator
Late Night with Seth Meyers

Dan McElroy graduated Five Towns College in 2012 with a B.F.A. in Film/Video. He spent his time here working on countless shoots with his classmates, assisting in the equipment room, and being a Teaching Assistant (TA) for his photography classes. In his sophomore year, he began interning at Vh1, which opened him up to New York City and the world of television. By the fall of 2011 he had been accepted to spend his senior year interning at NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. There he found his passion for the world of late night programming and the culture created within the 30 Rock building.

Dan spent a few months as a freelance Production Assistant (PA) before he found a staff position on Late Night with Seth Meyers where he is a Field Coordinator today. His job has allowed him to film with celebrities in places such as Yankee Stadium, The Pentagon and Studio 8H (home to SNL). He credits the skill set and educational foundation that he learned at Five Towns College with helping him achieve so much of the success he finds today.
