All About Alumni: FTC Kickoff Event 2019
Though not, technically, historical, it was definitely quite a kickoff event hosted by The Career Services Center and Alumni Association to be remembered!
Held at TOA in Farmingdale, some 50 Five Towns College alumni, faculty and staff attended an enjoyable event to reunite, network, socialize and show some school spirit. Recently, the institution launched a strategic initiative to reach out and connect with more alumni. Initially, a College Newsletter that highlighted many of the new things happening on campus was distributed in the Spring 2019. In addition, the alumni webpage was upgraded, the featured alumni carousel was updated, and, then, the Fall 2019 Newsletter was distributed, too. Go here to see what’s new: https://www.ftc.edu/career-services/alumni-association/ and https://www.ftc.edu/about-five-towns-college/alumni/.
In an ongoing effort to build strong ties with alumni, the institution is focusing on strengthening its brand, helping alumni to thrive in their professional lives, and benefit from an invigorated campus with new technology, stimulating events, and opportunities to network professionally. One upcoming opportunity for alumni is the Business Division’s Music and Entertainment Industry Studies Conference (MEIS) planned for November 1, 2019 which all are invited to attend.
The AY 2019-2020 should be inspiring and vibrant. All are urged to attend a SOUND Athletics game i.e. soccer, volleyball or basketball. Go here to see the Fall 2019 schedule: https://athletics.ftc.edu/landing/index.
Join us for Pep Rally, STAGE or any of the Theatre Division productions that can be found here: https://www.ftc.edu/ftcpac/
It was great to see everyone and thanks for attending!
