Earn a Bachelor of Music degree (Mus.B.) in Performance or Music Teacher Education at Five Towns College! Five Towns College is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM) and the Music Teacher Education Division is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). This accreditation covers initial teacher preparation programs and/or advanced education preparation programs.

The Bachelor of Music degree in Performance offers these concentrations:

• Audio Recording Technology
• Composition
• Music Entertainment Industry Studies
• Performance
• Songwriting

The Bachelor of Music degree in the Music Teacher Education program offers concentrations in instrumental or vocal/piano/guitar. The program fulfills the New York State Education Department’s requirements for initial certification in Music Education (pending the passing of all NYS written and practical assessments).
