Five Towns College is proud to host its annual Music & Entertainment Industry Studies (MEIS) Conference, bringing together students, alumni and music-industry professionals for a day of dialogue, insight and networking. This year’s theme, “Rise of the Artistpreneur,” underscores the evolving role of today’s creatives — as artists, entrepreneurs and brand builders — in the fast-changing world of music and entertainment.

About the MEIS Program:
The MEIS concentration is available within both the Business Management and Music Performance degree programs at Five Towns College. Students in MEIS dive into the legal, production, management, marketing and merchandising aspects of the music business — preparing for careers such as artist manager, band/tour manager, booking agent, concert promoter, music licensing coordinator, music marketer or publisher.
The annual MEIS Conference builds on this curriculum by giving students a real-world forum to meet industry experts, hear success stories (and challenges), gain insight and make meaningful connections.
