The Five Towns College School of Performing Arts brings together Music Performance, Music Teacher Education, and Theatre Arts to prepare students for professional careers on stage, in the classroom, and across the performing arts industry. These programs combine artistic development, technical training, and real-world performance experience in an immersive, hands-on environment.

School of Performing Arts Academic Programs
The Music Performance program is designed for students pursuing careers as performers, composers, and professional musicians. Through private instruction, ensemble participation, and performance-focused coursework, students refine their artistic voice while developing technical mastery.

The Theatre Arts program at Five Towns College provides conservatory-style training for students pursuing careers in acting, musical theatre, and the performing arts. Students work closely with experienced faculty and industry professionals while gaining extensive hands-on performance experience.
The College offers two specialized Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees:
B.F.A. in Acting
A rigorous program focused on developing versatile actors for stage, film, and television. Students train in acting techniques, movement, voice and speech, and on-camera performance while building a professional portfolio through productions and a Senior Showcase for agents and casting directors as the culmination of their training.
B.F.A. in Musical Theatre
An intensive, professional-track program centered on acting, singing, and dancing. Students develop “triple-threat” skills through performance opportunities, cabaret presentations, and comprehensive training in voice, movement, and acting, culminating in a Senior Showcase for industry professionals.
Graduates of the Theatre Arts programs are prepared for careers as actors, performers, directors, voice-over artists, and creative professionals across theatre, film, television, and related media industries.
In addition, Five Towns College offers the Associate of Occupational Studies (A.O.S.) in Theatre Arts, which provides foundational training and prepares students to transfer into a B.F.A. program for advanced study.
