The Department of Information Technology (IT) is dedicated to providing innovative technology-based services and support to the entire Five Towns College community. The IT Department implements software and hardware solutions in alignment with the College’s mission statement and goals.

Student Support Services

The Department of Information Technology (IT) provides state-of-the-art equipment and support to facilitate the academic success and growth of each student. The IT Department aims to enhance the student experience by consistently maintaining and updating computer labs, smart classrooms, wireless Internet access, and academic software solutions to meet each student’s unique needs.


Institutional Support Services

The Department of Information Technology (IT) provides instructors and administrative staff with first class support. The Department strives to ensure that each member of the faculty and staff is able to work in the most efficient manner possible. IT seeks to meet each academic and administrative department’s technological needs. This includes supporting the College’s Student Information System, Learning Management System, e-mail, website, payment systems, workstations, databases, and telecommunications.

The staff in the IT Department includes the Director of Information Technology, Network Administrator, Information Technology Specialist, and LMS/Canvas Administrator.
