Clubs and Organizations

Clubs and Organizations

While much of the college experience takes place inside the classroom, the Office of Student Activities (OSA) promotes the integral part that occurs outside the classroom through co-curricular activities. We offer many opportunities for student involvement through student organizations, campus events, leadership development, conferences, and much more. Students are encouraged to define their campus culture and experience by creating new organizations, participating in programs, creating new events, and reflecting on their experiences. The OSA staff strives to support students by providing opportunities for the enhancement of academic, cultural, social, and recreational aspects of student life.

Student Government Association (SGA)

The Student Government Association serves as a voice of the students to the faculty and administration. Students can get involved through their organizations and committees. All recognized clubs and organizations fall under the jurisdiction of the Student Government Association (SGA).

The SGA is the elected representative student body of the campus and is responsible for creating many of the policy-making decisions that affect clubs, organizations and student life. The SGA consists of a variety of positions from a member at large to committee chairs and is overseen by the Office of Student Activities.
