L. I. SUPERINTENDENTS’ SCHOLARSHIP

Please be advised that the College has received a record number of nominations for the Fall 2023 and is no longer able to accept nominations for that term. If you have any students to recommend, kindly consider nominating them for the following academic year 2024-25. Thank you very much for all the support!

The prestigious L.I. Superintendents Scholarship (LISS) covers up to half of the annual tuition to attend Five Towns College.

Five Towns College is committed to helping Long Islanders through these difficult times. Our campus offers students an outstanding and personalized education that is close to home. U.S. News & World Report recognized Five Towns College as a Best College for Social Mobility in the Northern Region for 2022.

Dedicated to providing Long Islanders with a small college option, scholarships are available to any high school graduate who is academically meritorious and who seeks to earn a bachelor’s degree at Five Towns College. We recognize our strong role as a partner in educating Long Islanders. The L. I. Superintendents’ Scholarship reflects that in a large way.

To show your commitment to supporting graduating seniors, kindly submit the Nomination Form below. Five Towns College will review submissions and will select at least one graduating senior from the high school in each L.I. School District to receive this prestigious award. Programs in Audio, Business, Film and Television, Interactive Media Arts, Mass Communication, Music Performance, Music Teacher Education and Theatre Arts are integrated in technology. Faculty and staff are accomplished in their own right, recognized in their craft, and dedicated to serving our student body.

LONG ISLAND SUPERINTENDENT’S’ SCHOLARSHIP NOMINATION FORM: AY 2024-25

Directions: Please complete this form, including contact information for the student, guidance counselor and Superintendent’s office and submit. A copy of the student’s high school transcript is requested as well and can be emailed to admissions@ftc.edu.

Five Towns College reserves the right to package this scholarship with other forms of student financial aid. Once accepted, this Scholarship may cover up to half of the annual cost of tuition and will continue for the next four consecutive years of study as long as the student remains enrolled full–time and achieves a minimum 3.0 G.P.A. to maintain the Scholarship. The Scholarship is not transferable and students are urged to file their FAFSA applications as soon as possible.
