In 2018, Jessica Chertock graduated as the Salutatorian from Five Towns College. She earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Commercial Music with a concentration in Composition/Songwriting.
Always a high performer, Jessica is dedicated to pursuing a profession in songwriting. She is already realizing her dream as an independent artist, songwriter, and EDM topline writer based in New York City and Miami. She has developed a writing repertoire that spans many genres, from pop and EDM to country/folk, R&B, and hip hop.
Recently, Jessica’s main focus has been on developing her career as an EDM artist. She has worked with many renowned producers and DJs from around the world, and has had releases on labels, such as Dim Mak, Dharma Worldwide, NCS, Soave, LoudKult, Spectrum Recordings, Future House Cloud, and others. Her music has recently garnered support from multiple well- known producers and DJs, including Steve Aoki, Don Diablo, KSHMR, Timmy Trumpet, and others. Since launching her EDM career in April 2020, Jessica has amassed over twenty-two million streams on Spotify, and even more across all streaming platforms.
This past spring, Jessica returned to campus to conduct a “Songwriter’s Workshop” Master Class for FTC songwriting students. She not only critiqued their original songs and shared stories of her experiences in the industry but also encouraged them to actively engage in networking which is so important as they collectively become the next generation of the music industry.
