Tyler Belo graduated from Five Towns College in 2019 with a B.F.A. in Theatre Arts and a concentration in Musical Theatre. Currently, Tyler is cast as Hercules Mulligan/James Madison in the First National Tour of Hamilton in Philadelphia. Among the other shows he has performed are Moritz in Spring Awakening, Gabe in Next to Normal, Georg in She Loves Me, Man 2 in World Goes Round, and Horton in Seussical.
Tyler’s time at Five Towns College shaped him into the hard working actor he is today. He has been seen around Long Island and New York City in various regional and Off-Broadway shows. Tyler has also appeared in Spring Awakening as Otto at the Argyle Theatre, Father Rob in Salvations (The Bridge Theatre), Lead Wickersham in Seussical The Musical (The John W. Engeman Theatre), Path in Emancipation of a Negus (The Arthur Seelan Theatre; Dir. David Krasner), Benny in In The Heights (Cultural Arts Playhouse), and The Lion in The Wiz.
When Tyler graduated, he received the Theatre Award for the Best All-Around student in the Theatre Arts Division. At Commencement, he accompanied Wyclef Jean in a performance of the song, “Maria Maria” that he produced with the group, Santana.
Thanks to Five Towns College’s Senior Showcase, Tyler now has agent representation and will continue to dazzle audiences around the country. Congratulations to Tyler and we wish him the very best!
