Creative Industry Experts Speak @ Five Towns College
As Thanksgiving Day break approaches, FTC was bustling with guest speakers this week.
For example, the Business Division hosted Rick Eberle in the Public Relations class to share his experience as an American Publicist, Talent Agent, Artist Manager, Musician, Songwriter, Singer, Guitarist and TV/Radio Personality. He talked about how he began working in New Media working on online initiatives for artists such as Pink, Usher, Outkast, Dido and others at Arista Records in NYC. Also, he shared his career path that brought him to where he is today, hosting Rising Stars radio Monday nights at 10pm on 90.3 WHPC FM.
Interactive Computer Graphics welcomed artist Michael Krasowitz as a guest speaker to its Drawing and Imaging class who inspired students with his personal style of illustrating and how it translates to digital. He shared illustrations and tales of how he created some of his most beautiful works of art.
Steve Burger, 3D Animator, also dropped by Interactive Computer Graphics to share some of his work and industry expertise for an open question and answer session with students.
Here @ Five Towns College, professors strive to keep students informed about latest industry trends. Luckily, experts in the field love to share and visit our campus.
