Two talented actors who both attended Five Towns College recently returned to the Dix Hills campus to share their experience with current students and tell how their training in the Theatre Division prepared them for the roles ahead.
Both these creative women had inspiring lessons to impart to today’s students at FTC.
Syndee has appeared in the National Tour Company production of The Lion King, as well as on Broadway in The Lion King, Motown the Musical, and is currently in the hit Broadway musical Pippin. She also has recently produced and starred in her own one-woman show, Let Me Love You—A Tribute to Lena Horne.
Stephanie has garnered many film and television credits including NYC Dreams, Homecoming Night, Absolution, Two Roads and Joint Custody. She has performed on Good Day NY and Weekend Today with Kim Sozzi, as well as having done commercials for Command.
They told the students about their experiences in the industry and then answered students’ questions. The talented pair of women spoke about their time at Five Towns College and how their training helped shape their professional experiences outside of college.
It was a great chance for today’s theatre majors to learn the ropes from two graduates who had traveled down the road they were taking and excelled.
