Athletic Conference- 2019-20 Season

The Five Towns College Sound Athletic Program was accepted into membership in the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) for the 2019-20 Season. This is a big deal for athletes and non-athletes alike!

The HVIAC has 10 members-all four-year colleges in NYS. Included in the roster are Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (Albany N.Y.), Berkeley College (New York, N.Y.), Culinary Institute of America (Hyde Park, N.Y.), Davis College (Johnson City, N.Y.), The King’s College (New York, N.Y.), Pratt Institute (Brooklyn, N.Y.), SUNY College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry (Syracuse, N.Y.), Vaughn College of Aeronautics (Flushing, N.Y.) and Webb Institute (Glen Cove, N.Y.). Five Towns College has joined this select group of colleges and welcomes the competition!

Now, Five Towns College participating students will be eligible for HVIAC Championships this coming Fall 2019 season. At FTC, it’s not just sports but opportunities for students in Film/Video, Mass Communication, Business Management and more. FTC students get hyped about live broadcasting and attending sports events. Student Activities usually schedules related programs like the annual Pep Rally to get the student body psyched about upcoming games.

Congratulations to Five Towns College Athletic Director Matt Guercio! With his team of coaches and students, the Sound Athletic Program is really starting to make some noise right here in Dix Hills!!
