filmfestThe Film/video Division led by Professor Kathy Curtis has been working diligently all semester and is ready to share their talented and creative work this week with the FTC community. This will be no ordinary event; rather, attendees can expect to participate in a Hollywood-ish, all-star, glamour Film Fest where graduating seniors display their abilities and where an award ceremony dazzles the crowd with the amazing and diverse films produced right here at Five Towns College. The FTC Film Fest 2015 runs two evenings this week.

First up:

On Thurs., May 14, 5:15-10:30 p.m. The Senior Screening Film Festival

All 27 Senior Projects’ short films are screening in the Five Towns College Performing Arts Center.

Second up:

On Friday, May 15, 7:00 p. m. The Luminaries Awards Ceremony

This Oscar-style, Red Carpet affair is where clips from the five films that are nominated in each category are shown on the big screen in the Five Towns College Performing Arts Center and where awards are given for the following categories: Best Sound, Best Musical Score, Best Screenplay, Best Actor/Actress, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year film, Best Alternative Film, . . . etc.

You’ve heard the wonderful music of FTC students at the FTC PAC this week, now come view the spectacular film productions by FTC students.
