Wednesday, November 16, 2016 was no ordinary night at Five Towns College.

The Main Stage @ the FTC PAC was resounding with extraordinary musical talent, student enthusiasm and passion. And, it was the culminating round of the FTC Student Activities Student Talent And Grand Entertainment a/k/a S.T.A.G.E. an established tradition on campus.

Attached below is a brochure of what the night entailed, including the line-up of the FTC student groups, including Alanis Harris, Golden Hour, Kelly Wask, Re’Sounding, and past winner, Nicole Harewood, now a FTC graduate student, who made it to the final round. The bios of the judges, including Prof. Steve Briody, Phillip Scott, Bill Meis, Corey Greenway and Ronald Land who used their professional expertise to assist in the final decision-making for the evening, are included there, too.

All of the FTC student groups were amazingly impressive! The excitement and reverberating energy led to students dancing, singing along, and great campus support of a truly wonderful student activity here at Five Towns College. Who says there is nothing to do on a Wednesday evening?

As the night came to a close, the FTC S.T.A.G.E. Winner was announced. And, . . .the Winner is FTC senior, Jamica Sherman!!

For those unfamiliar with Jamica, she is in the Jazz/Commercial Music program with a Music Business concentration, graduating this December 2016. She is a powerhouse voice to be reckoned with, a phenomenal singer, accredited actress and songwriter from Jacksonville, Florida who brings light to every occasion. She has contributed to Five Towns College with her talent, ideas and leadership qualities. She also goes by “Charm” and believes that her legacy is to promote unity, peace, and world healing with soulful, electric insight, wisdom, and the distinct sounds of Blues, Gospel, Jazz, and Rock.

Well, it is clear that Jamica’s legacy lives on and that this FTC student has, indeed, left her mark and legacy @ FTC.

Congratulations to all the participants, many thanks to the judges and much appreciation to the Student Life staff and FTC PAC personnel who did a great job setting the S.T.A.G.E for a tremendous evening!
