Legendary Funk Vocalist to Perform
With Five Towns College Jazz Orchestra

Tower of Power is regarded as one of the most influential funk groups of all-time. Many of their fans consider Tommy Bowes to be the most exciting vocalist in the group’s history. Five Towns College is honored to have Mr. Bowes as a guest artist for the upcoming “Evening of Jazz” concert – Tuesday May 3rd at 7:30pm. He will be performing a classic Tower of Power song along with the Five Towns College Jazz Orchestra directed by FTC Professor, Dr. Steve Briody.

Also performing will be FTC groups such as the outstanding Vocal Jazz Ensemble directed by FTC Professor Stephen Gleason, and the American Songbook Ensemble, featuring several top vocal students, directed by FTC Professor Dr. Scott Ballin.
