Five Towns College’s Business Division invites students and alumni to the 2026 Music and Entertainment Industry Studies (MEIS) Conference on Thursday, November 12, from 8:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. in The Downbeat at Five Towns College in Dix Hills, NY.
This year’s theme, “TUNE UP Your Music Career: Tools, Data & Strategies,” puts practical career development at the center of a day of industry discussions, demonstrations, and networking.
Keynote: Ryan MacTaggart
FTC alumnus Ryan MacTaggart, President of Kicking Vinyl and Founder of R383LL10N Entertainment, returns as keynote speaker. A 2001 graduate with more than 25 years of music industry experience, MacTaggart has held leadership roles at Interscope Records, 300 Entertainment, and Warner Music Group. His background in artist development, marketing, and brand partnerships brings a firsthand perspective on building sustainable music careers. His keynote is scheduled for 12:10–12:30 p.m.
