Shonna Narine graduated Five Towns College in 2017 with a B.A. in Mass Communication, Broadcast Journalism. While attending college, Shonna had her own radio show and anchored the newscast for the school’s TV Club in her junior year. Also, she interned at News12 Long Island. After graduation, Shonna landed her first on-air reporting job in Bangor, Maine where she was a one-man-band reporter, weekend anchor, and producer.
Shonna is now getting ready to make the jump back to New York reporting for Hudson Valley’s FIOS1 news. Shonna credits Five Towns College for developing her skills, educational background and for helping her to achieve these future career goals.
