Robert (Bobby) Johanson
Class of 1988
A.A.S. Business Management/Audio Recording Technology
ADR Mixer
The Harbor Picture Company

Robert (Bobby) Johanson graduated from Five Towns College in 1988 with an Associate in Applied Science degree in Business Management and a concentration in Audio Recording Technology. He has enjoyed a long and successful career as an ADR Mixer for both film and television.

Bobby’s interest in an audio career began with his love of music. He wanted to find a way to be involved in the music industry without the crazy hours that musicians and their crews keep. Bobby began by sweeping the floors in music recording studios on Long Island when he was just 15 years old and later became a messenger for Sound One Corp. in New York City.

Presently, Bobby is an ADR Mixer for The Harbor Picture Company, a global production and post-production studio serving the entertainment and advertising industries. He has worked on such notable productions as Bridge of Spies, Brave, Soul, Lincoln, The Many Saints of Newark, and West Side Story. Bobby has been nominated for multiple Primetime Emmys and Cinema Audio Society (C.A.S.) awards and won two C.A.S. awards with his teams for Brave and Soul.
