WEEK ONE SHOWDOWN @ FTC

crazy hat

It was quite a week @ FTC. Not just for classes-which is why everyone is really here-but for the non-stop activities, special commemorations and new traditions being established on campus.

For instance, new students @ FTC not only experienced summer orientation but also Matriculation Day, Convocation Day and student leaders and staff delved into Professional Development Day, too. Also, the student body and the College’s faculty and staff received again NYS mandated education/training about the Enough is Enough law and learned about affirmative consent, the student amnesty policy, options and where to go for both confidential and private counseling. Of course, the point of the onboarding under the law is to make sure that education/training about sexual assault puts an end to that type of behavior across the state and FTC is staying focused on achieving this, too.

So, what else transpired during this crazy hat week? Click on the YouTube link to view the video below and check out how the FTC Film/Video Squad and the Mass Communications Division has stepped up to the plate technically for our enjoyment!! Or, copy and paste: https://youtu.be/Jrx4UGrYzws

Here’s a shout out to thank NYS Trooper Senior Investigator Kim Auguste, FTC Profs Michael Mercandante, Charles DesJardins, Tom Callandrillo, Kathy Curtiss, Charles Schner and the FTC student body for all your contributions!
