Five Towns College Common Hour: Awesome October Events!

11

What’s going on at this small, suburban college campus? Today, some amazing events that demonstrate creativity, diverse interests, and forward-looking ideas are being generated from within this institution.

First up, Common Hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays has been replete with some artful choices. This week is especially busy, perhaps due to Halloween events. Today from 12:30-1:30 p.m., the College community can join Professor Kuhl (not just an awesome Audio Professor but an expert pilot as well!) out on the soccer fields to observe an experimental drone demonstration.

Next up, the Liberal Arts Division is hosting a Spooktacular event down at the Downbeat Café. So, for more traditionalists, head that way . . . it’s bound to be “sweet”!

Lastly, and in sync with the music, audio, film/video, mass communications and performing arts core that makes FTC’s heart beat, representatives from Sony/Columbia convene in the Faculty Lounge for a roundtable discussion. This opportunity to “meet & greet” and, basically, a terrific networking forum is something that students should attend.

The Gospel Choir performs at Music Shed in the evening from 7:30-10:00 p.m. and will bring the day to an end, on a high note!

So, let’s get engaged and mobilized! Hit the soccer field, the Downbeat and, then, the Faculty Lounge; these are great experiences that all students should enjoy!

Have a great Halloween week everybody!!!
