Welcome back to the Spring 2020 semester!

As we all are experiencing the most unanticipated, historical pandemic of the 21st century, let’s rest assured that there will be peace, calm and an end to all of this at some point soon. To help guide us, staying focused on one’s educational path might provide some resolve. And, so, at Five Towns College, we are looking ahead to ensure that our students continue on their academic journeys with the least disruption possible.

The Online Education Division has launched in full swing and all students are encouraged to visit the site for updated contacts, resources and support. It is available here: https://www.ftc.edu/online-education-division/ and be sure to follow any updated institutional Notices related to Coronavirus/COVID-19 here: https://www.ftc.edu/coronavirus-updates/.

In addition, Five Towns College is busy creating interesting online venues, programs and higher educational experiences for all to enjoy.

Be sure to check in for Common Hour Online this Tuesday, March 31at 12:30 p.m. by going to the official FTC Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/fivetownscollege or the FTC YouTube page here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DiXkrh6LTNo&feature=youtu.be.

Also, connect with Campus Events if you seek to perform, produce or would like to be involved with upcoming programs by emailing [email protected].

The Career Services Center is also available online. Be sure to visit them in Schoology and go to https://www.ftc.edu/career-services/ to set up appointments to discuss future plans and professional needs.

We know these days have been difficult but we will persevere and get past this to the other side as well as look forward to hearing about much student success! So, though we’ve been saying it for a while, we really do mean it: Stay Focused on your goals, Thrive in whatever environment you find yourself by taking things seriously but enjoying experiences, and Create your future by looking at things positively.

These days will pass . . .things will improve and return to normal . . . you will succeed . . . and we will be here to support you as much as we can.

Welcome back to all!!
