In 1965, Gary Lewis was Cash Box Magazine’s Male Vocalist of the Year, winning the honor over other nominees you may have heard of, like Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra. He’s definitely one of the great American pop stars.

During the 1960s he was the only artist to have his first seven releases reach Billboard magazine’s Top 10 on the Hot 100 chart.

Gary Lewis’s 12 Top 40 records include these Top Ten Hits: “This Diamond Ring,” “Count Me In,” “Save Your Heart For Me,” “Everybody Loves A Clown,” “She’s Just My Style” and many more. His music has been heard all around the globe, selling more than 45 million records worldwide since he first took the microphone and sang his heart out.

Along with his TV appearances on American Bandstand, Hullabaloo and The Tonight Show, Gary was a five-time guest on “The Ed Sullivan Show,” America’s longest running variety program.

With today’s interest in oldies music, Gary Lewis & the Playboys sound better than ever as they entertain fans — new and old — across the country.
